====== Locales ======

You can specify country-specific parameters in the //Locales// window. These control the format of numbers and currencies. [[en:staff:settings:products|Products]] and [[en:staff:settings:vat|VAT values]] have the //locale// as parameter.

Locales have the following parameters:

^Field ^Description ^
|**ID**	  |Code of the locale, which can be selected from pre-defined system values.|
|**Flag**	  |Flag to be used for the locale|
|**Language**	  |Language of the locale|
|**Currency**	  |Currency of the locale|
|**Group symbol**	|Character used as a thousands separator|
|**Decimal symbol**	|Character used as a decimal separator.|
|**Sample**	|Displays what a number looks like in the specified format|
