====== Students ======

This is an overview of the features that [[https://www.schooldrive.net/|SchoolDrive]] provides for students who participate in courses abroad. These participants are often teachers or staff of [[en:edugate:coordinators:start|sending institutions]].

===== Target Group =====

The Students interface can be used by **individual students** to access their courses related data. Students can access to their courses at multiple schools.

**Parents of students** can access their child's courses related data as well. Parent with multiple children studying at different schools can access this data via one SchoolDrive account.

**Agencies** can also use the Students account to view the course related data of the participants who have signed up to courses via the agency. The data of several participants at different training institutes can be accesses via one SchoolDrive account.

The student features are available via a [[en:edugate:students:desktop|Desktop interface]] and a [[en:edugate:students:mobile|Mobile interface]].

===== Functionality =====

It is possible to **list the courses** that the student participates in and to view the **course parameters** (like course description, location, schedule, timetable and teachers and their contact data).

Course related student **documents** (like agreements, certificates, invoices) can be viewed and uploaded here and it is possible to **chat** here with the school's course organizer staff.

Teachers can provide a **syllabus** for the course that contains the learning programme and the course material. The individual sessions of the course are listed together with contents added by the teacher after the session took place about what was taught and what further information is relevant about the session.

Students can view their **evaluation** results, which was entered by their teacher. This consists of a test result and a textual assessment of the student's progress.

Students can view their **invoices**. They can **pay invoices** online if the school is connected to a payment service via SchoolDrive.
