SchoolDrive is an online course administration system that supports student language and further training programs. All participants in the program have access to the system and the system facilitates the communication and information flow between the parties. 

===== Parties =====
Parties interacting during the program are: //course providers//, //students//, //sending institution// of the students and //agencies//.

==== Course providers ====
Course providers are schools that organize courses which can be attended by students of other schools (often in another country). Course providers register their planned courses in the system with all their parameters (like schedule, age limits, accommodation options, fees, etc.).

==== Students ====
Students (or teachers on further training programmes) attend language and further training programmes of Course providers. The students' (or teachers') sending institutions, or students individually, submit a grant application to support their language or further training programmes. Students and teachers register on the courses via an Agency via the system, and upload and store the documents required for the program in the system.

==== Sending institutions ====
Sending institutions are students' and teachers' home schools. They will apply for support via the retrospective national or other agencies to sponsor their participants' programs.
==== Agencies ====
An agency is the party that liases with all other parties. Also, course providers may share information directly with participants via the system. Agencies will help their clients by providing information and help with grant application and management processes, and further information on travel and other arrangements in connection with students' travel.

===== Services =====
SchoolDrive allows course providers to register their courses via the system and share these with agencies. Agencies can publish a combined list of categorized courses from various providers on their website. Teachers can apply to these courses. The applications are validated by the agencies and all necessary documents are collected and stored by the parties in the system - coordinated by the agencies.

SchoolDrive provides access to the shared information and documents for the parties. It also provides a chat that all participants can join.
